Story of LT Creek
November 16 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
LT Creek runs out of Fennell Bay, Lake Macquarie. According to local stories the creek used to be a clear water, sandy bottomed paradise, with a bowling club, a dance hall, a small zoo on its shore, and a swim team nearby. Although the effects of industry and house runoff caused the creek to transform into a barely recognisable, murky and sludge bottomed waterway the people never stopped loving it. Despite its unhealthy appearance, some believe the creek is still able to thrive, and some reveal that it is possible for the creek to be clear again.
