This workshop explores the latest in iPhone film-making gadgets, practical tips and techniques for making your smartphone the centre of your production tool kit.
This workshop will start with a 45-minute inspirational/journey presentation about the power of telling stories with your smartphone.

You will then meet David Sivyer from Feedback Organic Recovery, Newcastle, who will run a 45-minute presentation “Enriching in your environment” showing how his initiative has turned unwanted food waste into urban farms that grow produce and connect people.

We will conclude this workshop with a 30-minute filming demonstration where Jason will interview David with some questions to show how documentary stories begin, and how we use interviewing technique to find story. Don’t be shy, you can join in and help out operating the camera, sound and lighting.
