It is generally misunderstood what a Director of Photography (DP) contributes to a production. This workshop will explore what a DP contributes to a film and the philosophy behind the art of cinematography. Don describes himself as, “a storyteller who happens to be able to control a camera.” In this workshop, Academy award nominated Cinematographer Don McAlpine, will share his extraordinary career of shooting over 50 feature films and how motion pictures and screen content have changed over this time.
