10 Years of Smartphone Films: an intimate Q+A
Jason van Genderen
2pm Friday

Watch a Tropfest NY winning film that cost $57, and earned over $30,000 (Mankind is no Island). In 2008 I made my very first smartphone film, and won my first global film festival. Since then, everything about this space has changed and evolved. Come join us for this revealing, inspirational and emotional journey through some of my most polarising short films. Hear why they were made, how they were made and what each film taught me about the process of becoming a better storyteller.

Also includes a short Q+A session so you can quiz Jason on ANYTHING about his film, technique, tips etc..

Presenter: Jason van Genderen – founder of the Pocket Film Academy and Filmbreaker Movement
